"I ordered a hockey stick that was listed..."
I ordered a hockey stick that was listed as the newest model, and the photos matched that version too. When it showed up, it was clearly an older one with a different grip and markings, so it wasn’t what I thought I was buying.
I reached out to customer support and it felt like nobody even read what I sent. They just told me the description was “close enough,” which really isn’t okay. If I had known it was this model, I would have skipped it.
"Easy return and quick refund"
I ended up sending it back, but the return was simple and the refund came through quickly. Helpful enough and no hassle.

"Wrong Size and a Hassle to Fix"
I ordered the right size pads, but they sent me a completely different size. Then I had to spend extra time contacting support and dealing with the whole return/exchange process, which was annoying. It took way too long to get sorted out for something that should’ve been simple

I ordered a few bits from hockeydirect.com and the prices were better than most other places I’d looked. Delivery was straightforward too, no issues there. For what I paid, I’m happy with what I got, if that makes sense, and I’d probably use them again...

"A little slower than I expected"
It ended up taking longer than I thought it would, which was a bit frustrating. I get that delays can happen and maybe I was expecting it too quickly, but I still feel like the wait was longer than it should’ve been.

I was a bit annoyed at first because they sent me the wrong stick size, and I wasn’t really in the mood to deal with returns that day. To be fair, they replied the next day and got the return sorted for me. It took a little while to get everything wrapped up, but overall I’m happy enough with how they handled it.

Checkout was fine, like nothing really complicated, but I did find myself wishing there were a few more payment options. It’s not a huge deal, just one of those things that would’ve made the whole process feel a bit smoother.

"Not as clean as I expected"
The packaging was rough when it showed up, and the stick already had scuff marks on it. I was expecting it to arrive in better condition, especially with all the vague promises about quality and care, but it didn’t really feel like that was the case.

"Pretty happy with the custom jersey"
I got my hockey jersey customized here and it turned out good. It took a little longer than I expected, but the name and number came out clean and all that, so overall I’m happy with it.

I’ve been a loyal customer for a while, so I was a little torn on this one. The refund did eventually come through, which I appreciate, but it took longer than I expected and the waiting was frustrating. I still like the brand overall, but this experience definitely tested my patience a bit...

"Shipping cost killed the deal"
I was going to order some hockey gear from them a while back, maybe last month or the month before, I can’t remember exactly. But once I got to checkout, the shipping cost was way higher than I expected. It pretty much made the whole order not worth it, so I just left the cart and didn’t bother.

"Fit Perfectly and Made My Day"
I ordered from hockeydirect.com and was feeling a bit unsure about the size at first. Luckily, the size guide was spot on with what I normally wear, and the skates fit just right. They felt good straight away, which was such a relief because I really wasn’t in the mood for dealing with returns. Really happy with the whole thing.

"Solid gear and seems like an honest shop"
I ordered a hockey stick and some tape from Hockey Direct, everything seemed above board. The packaging looked normal, the brand labels matched up, and the stick felt like the real deal rather than a knockoff. I care about buying from places that do things properly, and this order gave me that impression.
I’m giving 4 stars because the delivery updates were a little slow, and I had to chase the tracking myself. That said, the products were good, the price felt fair, and I’d probably order again since they seem like a legitimate company trying to do right by customers

"Decent site, but the hockey selection felt limited"
I was hoping to find a wider range of hockey gear, but the selection felt limited. A few sizes I needed were missing, and some brands I usually trust weren’t available at all. The site itself was easy enough to navigate, but I’m a bit cautious about buying gear when I can’t compare enough options or stick with brands I know. In the end, I decided to check a few other shops before taking the risk on something that wasn’t quite what I wanted.

"Website made shopping harder than it should be"
I tried using Hockey Direct to find a hockey stick, but I ended up giving up after a while. The site felt clunky, pages were loading slowly, and the filters didn’t really seem to work properly for me. I kept having to go back and search again, which got frustrating fast. The basket and checkout area wasn’t very clear either, almost like they haven’t really thought through how annoying that is for customers. The products might be perfectly fine, but the website makes the whole process way more difficult than it needs to be.

"Promo code was disappointing"
I went on hockeydirect.com because I saw a promo code and figured I’d get a decent deal, but by the time I got to checkout it barely took anything off. Apparently some items were excluded, but that wasn’t really obvious until the end, which was frustrating. I also ended up waiting in a queue longer than I expected, so by that point I was already annoyed. The prices are okay overall, I guess, but the whole discount thing felt a bit misleading. Not the worst experience, just irritating.

They actually helped me figure out which stick was the right fit for me. I wasn’t totally sure what to get, but the advice made it a lot easier

"Tracking was useless, but it arrived"
My order did eventually show up fine, so I can’t complain too much there. But the delivery tracking didn’t update for a few days, which was annoying. I was basically just sitting around hoping it hadn’t vanished into the void because some genius forgot to keep the tracking current. Not a total disaster, but they definitely need to make the updates clearer

Once I made the payment, it felt like they stopped caring. Replies took forever, and when support finally got back to me, the answers weren’t very helpful. It left me feeling unsure about trusting them.
